Today I was at BroTek for my car to be remapped and intake installed and I must say I could not be happier with the welcome I had when I arrived from Mark. Everything was done in a professional manner from start to finsh and any questions I had he was happy to answer and assist me with them. I must say I will be back to have more work carried out and parts ordered as it was fast and professional. Big thanks to Mark Brodie for supplying and fitting the 40/45mm Eibach Sportline Kit giving it a nice height. Job was done snappy and ride is comfy! Well after a rough drive from Newcastle I arrived at BroTek and met Mark for my Stage 1 remap. He is a sound guy and answered all of my million questions I had. He put my mind at rest of a few issues I thought the S3 had and took me out in his S3 which I must say is a beast. My car feels like a rocket, the power is immense and just pulls all through the revs. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of having a map done to do it ! Visited Mark at BroTek today with my Octy VRs 2.0TFSi for a remap. Totally blown away by the results, completely transformed the car into something that feels brand new. I still cant get over how much pull 3rd and 4th have in the mid-range for a tune that is regarded as "Stage 1". Also got a good preview of a nice bit of machine polishing on the spoiler to remove some nasty finger print blemish, which now looks like brand new paintwork. Glad I brought some extra cash though as spending time in the detailing barn makes you want to buy all sorts!! Couldn't have asked for a nicer welcome from Mark and a great chat all morning and into the afternoon. Would have stayed all day just to chat if Mark didn't have so much on. David Lewis  -  Nov '14

I was lucky enough that Mark was driving up to Aberdeen so I had the chance to get my A3 (140) remapped along with some VCDS tweaks. Roughly an hour and a half later and the car is performing how it should have from the factory (why Audi holds back the power i'll never know!) Top bloke and even took me out for a spin in the S3 which is an absolute beast! Highly recommended and I'll definitely be spending more of my wages getting him to do more!   Lewi Jones - July '14

Paid a visit to BroTek today to get my Mk1 Fabia vRS stage 1 remapped. Mark really couldn't have been any more welcoming and friendly upon arrival. He started to work his magic on my car, once we were waiting for the map coming back from Shark we took his tricked up S3 for a blast. What a machine, couldn't believe how well it grips the road too. Once back at BroTek HQ, we paid a visit to the Detailing Barn. Seen some of his work which is first class and advised me on Angelwax products. Got a cracking deal on a bag of Angelwax goodies to take home. Got the map onto my car and took it for a spin......car drives way, way better. So much smoother and the power doesnt tail off.....very happy with it. Also Mark done a VCDS health check before and after remapping to make sure no niggly problems with my car. Where to start...Mark's customer service is fantastic. Right from the word go he was as helpful as I could have asked him to be. He came over to Glasgow in the evening (at a time I would consider to be out of hours) and remapped my Limited Edition Fabia vRS with a Shark stage 1 map for a great price and you could tell he knew exactly what he was doing, proper professional. On waiting from the map from Shark he showed me through his Angelwax product selection and I opted for a few of them after his words of wisdom and a deal I couldn't refuse. Even what he knows about mapping cars is overshadowed by his knowledge on detailing cars. I could have stood and learned all day. To pass the time he even took me a spin in that weapon of an Audi S3 he owns, those who have been in it will know what I mean. It is worth adding Mark didn't leave the Fabia until he had witnessed it being driven on the new map and checked that it hadn't triggered any faults on VAGCOM. The new map is really smooth and the fabia doesn't half kick up its heels now for what it is. Overall, great bloke, great business attitude, great product. I will be back. And to top it all off he even put on a couple of BroTek stickers which look fantastic with the colour of the car. Just need a Shark one for the boot now Mark ha.  Gareth Locke - Apr '14

After purchasing my Audi A3 2.0 TDI 140, I had heard that one of the best things I could do was to get an ECU remap carried out. After some research as to the options, I decided to take my car to Mark at BroTek. What a great decision. Mark really knows his stuff and chats through the whole process from start to finish and is more than helpful in answering any questions about the remap as well as anything else related to your car. After the remap itself I felt a noticeable difference in the smoothness in the whole rev range, with torque being very aggressive in the "S" mode (S-Tronic). In the "D" mode, the fuel economy has been improved and still surprises me that I'm getting this sort of performance along with the savings in fuel! Top service from Mark @ BroTek. He has provided all of my parts to get my Audi S3 to Stage 3 and all at excellent prices. I was very impressed with Marks service @ BroTek and all the help he has provided me. A few parts that Mark has provided me with include Loba stage 3 clutch and SMF, AMD intake, Loba HPFP, Revo PCV Revamp kit, DTE pedal box which were all delivered with no problems and very competitively priced. I am never away from Marks Detailing Barn! The Angelwax products are out of this world. The whole range is priced well comparative to other products such as Auto Finesse, Dodo Juice, Poorboys, Zaino etc. I have used all of them and Angelwax is by far the best! I am currently trying some of the Garnet products. I will be getting Mark to do a full paint correction on my Audi TT when it goes up for sale next month. I have also had my Audi lowered with H&R Springs by Mark and the service was fantastic. No problems at all. I highly recommend Mark for all the services he provides. I have had Mark remap three cars this year. First was an Audi 8L S3. Had fantastic results with the remap and the car felt much faster and the fuel economy was better. The second car I got remapped was an Audi S4 B5 same great results and I have also had Mark detail these two cars in the infamous Detailing Barn. The difference was amazing as the paintwork on both of the cars before was OK with a few swirls and light scratches but after they were detailed the paint was like glass. The third car I have had remapped was my dads Volkswagen Passat B6 2.0TDI and my dad has not stopped smiling since driving the car home where he felt the car had been transformed. Before there was a few flat spots but now the car feels great with more torque and the mpg has increased to 55mpg and thats with 205bhp on tap. Mark is a really nice guy who puts a lot of care and attention to your car and is really helpful if you need any help or advice on your car. Murray Scott - Dec '13

After months of DPF and EGR issues with my Audi 2.0TDI 170 Quattro, a friend told me about BroTek. How glad am I! A totally professional service carried out with complete ease. DPF removed and EGR/DPF delete and a stage 1 remap done. The end result is a completely different car. I honestly cannot believe why Audi have restricted this engine. What a great service Mark offers. I went for the Stage 1 remap and an exterior detail on my Audi A4 2.0TDI.... The Shark map has solved a whole host of issues I had with a previous map. I was getting massive flat spots and a lot of over fuelling, now the car is nice and smooth and pulls well through all the gears.... Marks detailing skills are also 1st class. I had various defects on the bodywork of the car, now it is literally like glass!! Mark remapped my 02 plate Skoda Fabia 1.9TDI PD100 just a couple of days ago. It feels like a completely different machine. His friends at Whitemoss garage were superb, they fitted my Milltek decat downpipe and cat back and laser aligned my wheels. I recently had my Audi 1.9 TDi mapped with a Shark Stage 1 map from 130 to 170 bhp by Mark. This has given the engine a new lease of life with better throttle response and turbo delivery. The car has also gained more miles to the gallon as I'm now getting around 200 miles for £25...cant be bad with the price of diesel now. While I was there I also purchased some detailing products which were recommended for my car. All in all a great day with perfect service which I highly recommend. Mark looked after my Fabia Mk1 vRS recently. The car was scanned and checked, then remapped via the Shark performance team. All done in a very reasonable time and with a couple of requests from me added in. Found the whole process interesting and professional. Had my Mk1 Octavia vRS stage 2 remapped by Mark. He was very enthusiastic, friendly and very professional. The car had a Chipped UK remap but since having it done 5 years ago the car has undergone a few mods. Shark Performance have a great reputation and I had no hesitation in getting Mark to remap my car as one of their dealers. Haven't had much time to really drive the car but so far the car is much smoother and it certainly has a lot more get up and go. I had my 2008 Audi S3 Stage 1 remapped by BroTek and I must say that my car is much better drive. The turbo kicks in earlier and and you can feel the extra power that the remap gives. I dont understand why the car shouldn't have this map when it left the factory. Mark is a top bloke who knows his stuff and I can't recommend a BroTek remap enough. I think a stage 2 remap is on the cards somewhere down the line.  Iain Mitchell - July '12
